I'm a bit apprehensive when going into the garden. This is mostly in part to the racist next door neighbours we have that heckle you and stare you down, and partly because I don't like bugs or insects. I've talked about this before in a past post (not the bugs bit). Needless to say, since the 9 years they've been here, we're generally tense all the time. Now, I hear you say why don't you call the police or the council or their housing officer?
The problem is, we have been consistently collecting evidence and reporting to everyone we need to report to, and yet no one seems to listen. We don't really go out often because we're paranoid they're going to break into the house again and steal things. When we have barbecue's, we do it fairly closely to our door, just in case of anything happening. We have to somewhat stealthily go to our car or put out the bins so as to not incur abuse and threats.
I know, I don't know how we live either. The police are stumped in how we've been enduring this and nothing is being done by their housing officer or council. They told us that they can only do so much but the rest is up to them because they're housing them. Just have to go on living like this I suppose.
