First of all, I'm not the one that's done the actions or presets, but I have found a lovely person who has and gives them for free. Her name is Rita and she has a blog called The Coffeeshop Blog. She is a photographer that also creates many presets that you can use in Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Lightroom and ACR (both photoshop and elements). In a previous blog, I said that I would be taking more photos of Nayomi, and so we did a kind-of-shoot on the last week of the first semester. In these photos I've used some of the actions from The Coffeeshop
Here I used the action Powder Room After Dark. It allows more contrast to the picture and allows you to brighten darker parts of the face, apart from smoothing, sharpening and making the eyes pop.
For this picture, I used Honey Retro. Played around with some other colour adjustments and some brightness.
If you like them you should definitely take a look at what else Rita has to offer, because there's so much! Also take a look at Nayomi's blog as well to see what she's up to. Starting to play around in Photoshop and Lightroom more in order to get a good work flow. I don't generally like to over process pictures but I always like to do something to them :)
